JAPANESE ENTRANCE
Location

This Japanese-inspired courtyard and garden embraces a contemporary aesthetic that complements the renovated modern home. By thoughtfully utilizing water, stone, and native plantings, the design creates a calm and welcoming entrance while maintaining clear circulation for parking both vehicles and trailer attachments.
Additional parking is discreetly located along the side of the home, allowing the main entry space to remain open and functional while still accommodating larger family gatherings. Plantings are intentionally simple and restrained to support a low-maintenance landscape that will mature gracefully over time.
Views of the garden are visible from both the downstairs and upstairs living spaces, ensuring the west end of the home is just as visually engaging as the ocean views to the east, and allowing the landscape to be experienced as an integral part of the home from multiple vantage points.
